We are still in Jyv�skyl� at jukka’s place togehter with kaius. we spent our first night here on a beautyful island. maybe night is not the right word because it was not dark at all. three o’clock in the morning there was like 10 pm in munich. unfortunatly verena got a fever from going to sauna and bathing in the lake all night long and she is still quite ill. but none of us would like to have missed this great expirience on this finnish island.
we will go back to helsinki tomorrow morning. many thanks to kaius and jukka for their great hospitality.

weather is not very fine.the sky is all grey. there were only a few sunny moments since we have arrived. but it is not raining and it is ok for visiting a city. I hope it will improve when we leave helsinki for the countryside.

i just got home from a nice walk. it was a good oportunity to listen to some music from my ipod,wich i do not use very often since i go by scooter everywhere. I realized that i have to update my music section here on plasticshore - there are some changes in my favorites playlist and maybe also in my top five. let’s see.
I have also taken many pictures with my gold old reflex camera during this day. but it will take some time until you can have a look.developing, prints, scanning ... etc… i wonder if my digital cam has arrived in munich by now?

we got picked up at the airport by sam and vesa and eija. it was a very warm welcome. right now i am sitting in sam`s and vesa`s kitchen after having a nice walk and a good typical finn diner before. Vesa just gave me a tasty beer from belgia. these 10 days are going to be very very nice. thank you all for your hospitality.

i called olympus yesterday (one more time). they said that it would take them until august to repair my cam! i will not explain what i have done then - but I made them sending me a brand new even better model :-)
But i doubt it will arrive in time for my trip to finnland. I think i will take my good old d-video-cam with me instead.
And i am still waiting for my laptop to be send back by apple....

after waiting some time for some of my favorite internet radio stations to get back on air, i am now going to rearange my music section soon. due to new laws in the us, stations like “secret agent” by soma fm are not longer able to broadcast.

my digital camera is out of order. the suggestion from the olympus hotline is that i should leave it untouched and without batteries for three days. this is the only way to reset it !!

i am back in munich after a short and exhausting trip to vienna wich is really a great city.
we went to a very poor place to watch the finals there and made it right in time for the second half.
i still did not care much about soccer then and it was not a big deal seeing the germans lose.
but this changed when i found something like “brazil 2002 wm..” written or scratched on my scooter this morning !!! damned soccer fans.
anyway. this was not my last trip to vienna.

yesterday night i was working on the small project mentioned a few posts before. at one o’clock in the morning i reached an almost final stage and wanted to show it to a friend before leaving the office. With this friend on the telephone i uploaded the new files to the server. At least i thougth i uploaded them. in fact i downloaded the old files and replaced the work of a whole evening. It took me another 3 hours just to reach the status i already had at one o’clock. i am pretty tired today…
